Muscular System

                                                            Muscular system

Function:The muscular system  moves you body  around like when you walk or talk.

Organs:  The only organs in the muscular system is your muscles. Hence the name muscular system. Now what do they do and why is there a system dedicated to them. The muscles are what allows your body to move. For example when i'm typing this sentence i'm using the muscles in my hand to curl the fingers and extend my reach. With my muscles I couldn't even begin to do that.

Interactions With other Systems:
The muscular system works very closely with the skeletal system. Muscles actual shape around your bones  allowing the full range of movement. They look different and they are shaped around the bone they are attached too. Without one another both of these systems would be useless. The skeletal system would just be like sticks within your body. A really hassle for use. Then the muscular system would just be a useless pile of muscular tissue. They need each other.

Analogy:

Your muscles are like oxen. Oxen have been used through history to push and pull heavy objects. Your muscles also have to same job. Muscles are used to move things around such as items or even parts of your body. Oxen do this job to perfection just like your muscles do.

Structure and Function:

Your muscles all have many functions. They do somehow manage to have one cause together as a whole. They are shaped in many ways to fit the shape of the bone it's around. The shape of the muscle is very straight. It is like hairs. They are all lined up yet the size of the strand go in and out like a wave. The length of an individual stand can be different depending on where it is. Think the muscles in your hand is shorter than next to your femur. Next the placement of your muscles. Well you know how your bones are all over your body. Well think of the muscles as covering every surface with bones. They are pretty much everywhere. Now how does this affect the function. All of this makes it so you can move anywhere and everywhere with out this range of motion we could not be successful. I'm glad that we have this.
