Summary: This week I have found the secret the animal survival. I wonder how I just accepted the facts that yep plants let me breath. I guess I thought that  well this all checks out the scientist say it so it seems pretty realistic then though nothing of it. Well now I am here to tell you that's not it. There is a lot more science behind it. Without one another this world would cease to exist.  Well you see there are a few things that make this process work.  You first got your reactants those you can consider the building materials for these process. Then once the action is done they let of products. Then those products would be the let's say photosynthesis reactants then it goes on an on. I've learned a little more about the function of this world. I have learned about photosynthesis more and newly discovered cellular respiration. Now that we got that cover let's get into our S&EP.

S&EP: This week we started to conduct an investigation. I just thought that this investigation was the coolest thing. we have started our learnings in how things get in and out of the cell through the cell membrane.  So we have used instead of  the cell an egg. They have been soaked in vinegar and now we must see how different liquids go through the egg's "cell membrane". we are all conducting an investigation to see how this all works and already looked to see what we think will absorb the most. I am anticipating the result and am eager to find out. Now let's get into the XXC.

XXC: This week I saw Cause an Effect. First of all i'm not sure if you would consider this a cycle of cause and effect but close enough. I got to closely observe how plants "breath in" and "breath out" .I  know it sound odd but really the do in a way. You can think of photosynthesis as breathing in. Then cellular respiration in like the process of breathing out. The breathing in causes breathing out and it repeats. That's all i got for now see ya next week on the adventures of 7th grade science.

The Micro Molecules

Summary: This week we learned about the great macromolecules. There are 4 macromolecules that make us up. 1. is nucleic acids. Those are your DNA and RNA. 2. is your carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are your carbs such as spaghetti, rice and sugar. 3. is lipids. Lipids are the fats, waxes, and oils. Then last of all is the Proteins.  Proteins are the  meats like fish, chicken, and beef.
This is what i've learn so let's get right into the S&EP.

S&EP #1: This week we have also been asked lots of questions based on photosynthesis. My class had trouble remembering all the facts of photosynthesis. We got challenged to remember how photosynthesis works and learned lots of new things. One of the coolest things I learned this week that my friend actually knew was that plants are any color but green. It refracts the colors it can't absorb. Those are a few things I had to remember this week and a bit of what I learned now let's get into the XXC.

XXC: Patterns: Science is filled with patterns. That is why it makes sense things can be consistent and inconsistent. This week we saw patterns within the macromolecules. First of all the most common pattern seen among each macromolecules. They are filled with at least one of these elements. Carbon, Hydrogen,Oxygen,Nitrogen and Phosphates. Each of the macromolecules have at least more then one of these and they usually come in 3 or more. That is a pattern amongst all of the macromolecules and is a great example of a pattern. That is a bit of what I have learn and GOODNIGHT

Cell Wars: The Ribosome

Summary: During this project I have learned a lot. The world of cells are a lot wider than I have ever imagined. Everything has role that aids to the function of life. Now that I you have heard about my life changing experience lets talk Ribosomes. Ribosomes are only the best organelle in the entire cell
( Well it's not actually a orginelle). Ribosome make most of our appearance. They make hair, skin, bones, and nails. Pretty important right well there is more. They also are very small and either free rome or the cling to other organelles. I know what you're thinking wow why would we want a clingy president, well isn't it better then a presents that takes up most of the cell.Nucleus (cough cough). Alright then those are just a few things I learned.

Backward Looking: Before I started I actually had no clue that a ribosome was a thing. Actually before this project I was not really aware of the other organelles in the cell and their importance.  I did know though about the vacuole and little about the basic ones. Some of the basic things I knew were the cell membrane, nucleus, cell wall and a bit more. Ya before this i was kind of blind of the world of cell land.

Inward Looking: I am very proud in my group's work. Why wouldn't I be we thrived through this project and overcame  a lot during this project. The one piece that I really enjoyed making and watching my video. it was wonderful to make and be a part of. Even if people don't vote us i think my group did our very best. Isn't that what it's all about.

Outward Looking: I feel like we didn't really work like other groups. From what I have seen yes lots of people had the same idea for a video like the  newscast but ours was very different. We had a creative spin to our work. We were not just a team but we were the ribosomes. I feel like we took almost too much pride in our group. Yes things may be similar in the end to other peoples but the way our group worked was what made this project.

Forward Looking; if I could have done this project over I would have changed a bit. The main thing I would have done was check the rubric more. I feel like that could bring us down a bit because we didn't really check if we had it all. I also wish that I would have know that we had to rate the websites with the cites. Over all I have to say that I just should have been more accurate with the rubic.

The Cell Wars PArt 4

Summary: The Ribosome is sure to win. Ok i'm not trying to be cocky or anything but from the facts I have learned this week I think they are just too important to deal without.I have figured out that they make your skin, bones, hair, nails, and tissues. when I figured that out I couldn't believe it, we would be a like blob fish without ribosome. One thng I would like to do though after im done with everything id like to learn a little more about my compition. This is what I have learned and what I want to learn.

SP6: This week I got to help explain the importance of my organelle. I even got to prove the greatness of it. I responded to 2 comments and explained why ribosome do those things. Another thing that I did this week was make my posters for the campaign. I got to explain through a simple visual how great my organelle is. I think that's so great because not everyone wants to take lots of time to understand the importance of the ribosome. Those are just a few things that made me construct explanation.

XXC: Now this is the point where I just tell you all about the ribosome. I have already told you what  the ribosome is like. Ok  first the quantity well they may have the highest amount of them compared to all the organelles in the entire cell. Alright here we go, they have 10 million ribosome in just one cell. Now that you know just how many they really are let's get into the scale of a ribosome, well they reason why so many can fit is because they happen to be the smallest of all the organelles in the cell. That is just a bit of what I have learned and I hope to get to know more.

Cell Wars Part 2

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e4/50S-subunit_of_the_ribosome_3CC2.png

Summary:
The Ribosome is actually very important to the cell. I don't know why I didn't used to know what it was. For instance, the ribosome is an organelle in the cell that creates protein. So this week I had to see what protien really does.I learned that proteins actually help make the tissues and the organs in your body. That not all they also grow your hair. Another thing I learned this week was that we can't do this job alone. The golgi body is actual what " packages" and send the proteins, that is why we haven't smeared them because we can't function without them. These are just a few things I have have learned this week about our wonderful organelle.
SP3: This my team and I conducted investigation a bit this week. You see we didn't always understand the information we had gotten. For example we didn;t really know what proteins do. So we had to investigate a little deeper into the meaning behind the first coat. Now I am very confident about our organelle because it important. I had to investigate this though and had to dig deeper into what was just their.
XCC Scale, proportion and quantity: The ribosome are very interesting. Unlike most of the organelles they come in large quantities. This is because they actually float around freely mostly. They also sometimes go onto the other organelles. This must sound crazy but this can work because of their scale. The actually are very small. They even are the smallest organelle in the entire cell. Unlike the nucleus and cytoplast they don't take much space. That's what I took from this week.
